Today's route brings together Rainforest trek and Colobus monkeys. Travel from Moshi to Machame Gate. Register and begin trekking through lush tropical rainforest. The trail is well-maintained but steep in places. Listen for Colobus monkeys in the canopy above. Reach Machame Camp in the cloud forest.

Expect the day to center on Shira Plateau and Moorland scenery. Trek through the last of the forest and emerge onto the dramatic Shira Plateau. The landscape transforms from dense trees to moorland with giant heathers and lobelia. Incredible views open up as you gain altitude. Reach Shira Camp with panoramic views of Kibo Peak.

Day 3 is built around Lava Tower acclimatization and Senecio forest. Critical acclimatization day. Trek up to Lava Tower at 4,630m (climb high, sleep low). This altitude exposure is essential for summit success. Descend to Barranco Camp through the surreal Senecio forest with giant groundsel plants.

The focus today is Barranco Wall scramble and Panoramic views. Morning scramble up the famous Barranco Wall — the most exciting section of the climb. It looks intimidating but is manageable with guide assistance. Amazing views from the top. Travel onward traversing to Karanga Camp.

Today's route brings together Summit night and Uhuru Peak 5,895m. Short trek to Barafu Camp (base camp). Rest and prepare for the midnight summit push. Set out from at midnight, trekking through the night under stars. The final push to Stella Point (5,756m) is the most challenging — steep scree and thin air test your determination. Watch the sunrise from near the summit — one of life's most incredible moments. Travel onward along the crater rim to Uhuru Peak — 5,895m — the Roof of Africa. Celebrate at the summit, take photos at the iconic sign, then descend to Barafu for a brief rest before continuing down to Mweka Camp.
