Day-by-Day Itinerary
Drive to the park gate on the western slopes. Trek through dense montane forest with towering trees, thick undergrowth, and mountain streams. The forest is home to elephants, buffalo, and Colobus monkeys though sightings depend on luck. Arrive at Met Station (Meteorological Station) camp in a forest clearing.
