The main cost drivers
Private vehicle costs are shared across the booked party, so per-person price often changes with group size. Solo use and single rooms can add supplements, while shared departures may reduce flexibility.
Peak demand raises accommodation rates and reduces choice. Park fees and primate permits are government-controlled and time-sensitive, so request a current quotation before treating any published figure as final.
Budget, mid-range and luxury are not standards
These labels help start a conversation but do not certify facilities. Two mid-range camps can differ in location, bathroom, power, room size, food, pool and service.
Compare the named property and room basis. A cheaper stay far from a gate can add driving, while an expensive location may reduce transfer time; neither is automatically the right trade-off.
Make quotes comparable
Check currency, tax, park fees, permit fees, accommodation, meals, drinking water, airport transfers, vehicle privacy, border handling, domestic flights, optional activities, card or bank charges and gratuities.
Ask what happens if the named stay or permit is unavailable and whether a price can change after official fee or exchange-rate changes. The answer belongs in the booking terms, not a verbal promise.
How to use published starting prices
Published tour prices are starting points. Unless the itinerary says otherwise, they do not include an unlisted property, international flights or time-sensitive permits.
Share your dates, party size and room needs to receive an itemized quote. Please do not include passport or payment-card details in your initial enquiry.
