2 Days Amboseli Express Safari

Depart Nairobi early morning and drive south through the Kapiti Plains with Mount Kilimanjaro gradually appearing on the horizon. Arrive at Amboseli by late morning and check into your camp. After lunch, head out for an extended afternoon game drive. Amboseli is famous for its giant elephant herds — some of the largest tuskers in Africa roam here. Watch herds of 50+ elephants including tiny calves moving across the golden grasslands with Kilimanjaro's snow-capped peak as backdrop. Visit Observation Hill for breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views across the park and the swamps fed by Kilimanjaro's underground meltwater. Search for lions, cheetahs, zebra, wildebeest, and giraffes. Return to camp for dinner under the stars.

Wake before dawn for a sunrise game drive — Kilimanjaro glows pink and gold at dawn, creating magical photography conditions. The early morning hours are the best time to see predators active and the mountain clear before clouds build. After the game drive, return to camp for a hearty breakfast, pack up, and depart for Nairobi arriving by approximately 3:00 PM. Drop-off at your hotel or JKIA airport.
